I loved this book!! Very witty and cleverly written and I couldn't stop reading it!! The pages almost turned themselves and I think this could be the next big thing - I would recommend to any reader, especially if you're a fan of J.K Rowling or Katherine Rundell. And it was very good value! I can't wait for the next book!

Extraordinarily entertaining, wittily worded, definitely a recommended read! Five ‘A’ stars for Mr Alphabet.
This is such a lovely book it shouldn't be for children only! The story is gentle, funny and has a bit of mystery too to keep you wondering. Full of real emotions it will resonate with readers of all ages and leaves you uplifted. It's a delight.
Intelligent, warm, and very funny. This is a great read. It has heart, charm and a wealth of memorable characters. Would recommend.
Well written and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Characters are all interesting and want to find out what happens next. Start of a good series of books I think
Looking forward to next one …..
I'm very sleepy, and that is because I've stayed awake well past my sleepy-time reading this marvellous book. It's about mystery, and who families are, and stinky flowers, and horse poo. And, it's about forgetting words, which is rather ... relatable.
More, please, R J Kinnarney.
This is a funny, easy to read book, that is hard to put down. A great read for children and adults alike, and i hope is the first of many more. I highly recommend it to help pass a rainy weekend.
OMG I can’t wait for the next one - captivating, funny and clever throughout - please someone stop R Kinnarney doing anything other than getting the next book published.
I really enjoyed not only the story, but the richness of the writing and the vivid characters the author creates. My 11 year old self would have been reassured by it, and my adult self found it delightful, unpredictable and very funny. I do hope this new author has more in the pipeline. Would recommend.
Such fabulous talent the author has
